UPDATE ON RILEY
Western Nevada Regional Youth Center rescued Riley who is a 4 year old female Boxer. She has been a therapeutic part of our client’s recovery by befriending everyone she encounters. Riley had a TPLO surgery to repair a ruptured cruciate ligament, which Community Animal Hospital completed and donated a majority of the cost. Due to Riley's continued health issues and extensive medical needs, WNRYC placed her with a staff member that works for Community Animal Hospital so she can get the care and love she gave so generously to others. Thank you for caring and supporting are extra special friend, Riley, who has left footprints on all our hearts!

The mission of the WNRYC is to protect the communities it serves by providing a continuum of services, programs and graduated sanctions that rehabilitates and holds juvenile offenders accountable for their actions while strengthening families.
WNRYC is a Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Agency (S.A.P.T.A.) state certified alcohol and other drug treatment program.
WNRYC is certified to provide Level II.1 intensive outpatient/adolescent in a residential setting.

WNRYC is a short term, staff secure, high impact, goal focused, multi-disciplinary treatment program. The program's general focus is towards early intervention, assessment, and treatment in Churchill County, Douglas County, Lyon County, Carson County and Storey County.
